Fresh Connect | Farm Share Program

What is a Farm Share?

A Farm Share, often referred to as a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture), is a simple, delicious subscription with a local farm. Customers pay upfront and receive fresh food throughout a designated season, ranging from one-time, weekly, or monthly. Shares may include produce, meat, eggs, and other farm products.

What is Fresh Connect?

Fresh Connect brings the farm to your workplace.
Through Fresh Connect, employers partner with local farms to offer convenient farm shares delivered directly to their employees. It’s an easy way to support employee wellness while strengthening local farm businesses. With administrative support from Iowa Valley RC&D, employers can offer employee support including payroll deductions or cost-share options to make participation simple and accessible.

Local farm deliveries to YOUR workplace can improve employee wellness and job satisfaction!

Workplace Farm Share programs have been linked to improved employee wellness and job satisfaction, while strengthening connections between local farmers and consumers. *

*This statement is supported by research reported in Harvesting Health and Incentivizing Wellness through CSAs.

  • "The Fresh Connect program was a great way for our family to be introduced to new fruits and vegetables. It forced us out of our comfort zone. The recipes and tips that were included each week were extremely helpful. We are looking forward to participating again!"
